Pocket Check #001 — The 5 Things That Actually Earn Their Pocket

The premiere puts the host's own carry on the table: the Core Five slots every EDC needs, the dead weight to ditch, the Sixth Slot Glock 48 carry system, and bag-tier medical. The carry: Glock 48 (Holosun optic, TLR-7 sub) in a Tier 1 Concealed holster, Palmetto State Armory 15-round spare mag, Benchmade Claymore, Montana Knife Company Mini War Goat, Olight ArkPro Ultra, Ridge wallet.

EDC Pocket Check — Official Trailer

Pocket check. Pat your pockets — phone, wallet, keys, and then what else? One question about everything you carry: does it earn its pocket?

THE SHOW

Every week we run the check: blades, lights, wallets, holsters, belts, and the medical kit that should be riding along too. What's worth the weight, what's dead weight, and what actually holds up when you need it. And if you carry — licensed, trained, and locked up right — there's a slot for that too: the Sixth Slot, framed responsibly. Training, secure storage, and know your state law. Nothing on the show is legal advice.

FOLLOW THE CHECK

SUBMIT YOUR CARRY

Every episode closes with Earns It or Roasted — listener carries get the verdict. The sharp ones get featured. The questionable ones get roasted (lovingly).

Send a top-down flat lay to [email protected] or tag @edcpocketcheck on Instagram with #PocketCheck. Include three things:

1. The photo  ·  2. Your item list with exact models  ·  3. One line on what you do all day — a carry has to fit the life, not just the pocket.

And tell us your verdict preference: FEATURE ME, ROAST ME, or EITHER. Nobody gets roasted who didn't ask for it. Submitting means your photo may appear on the show and our socials.

Ground rules: no faces, no visible serial numbers, no IDs, no cards. Just the gear.
